Harvesting Hope: William J.L. Crisp Lodge #279's Impactful Fall Food & Goods Drive

On November 18th, 2023, the William J.L. Crisp Lodge #279 (PHA) successfully concluded our Fall Food & Goods Drive, contributing significantly to Minnies Food Pantry in Plano, TX. We collected and donated a total of 1,468 pounds (1,828 items), providing 1,233 meals to those in need. This effort has the potential to impact 411 families in our community.
Worshipful Master Quincy Thomas, shared his enthusiasm for this impactful program, emphasizing the Masonic duty to serve the community. "As Masons, it is our duty to serve our community and extend a helping hand to those in need. The Food Collection Program embodies the core principles - charity, benevolence, and fellowship. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and address the issue of food insecurity in our community."
